About Adriane
Writer and editor Adriane Bishko has been helping clients turn
their vision into words since 1994. Equally at home in print or
on the Web, she offers a broad creative approach that encompasses
not only an editorial but also a visual perspective. Before starting
her own business, Adriane gained valuable experience writing for
Malden Hospital, Action for Boston Community Development, and Shreve,
Crump & Low.
In 2004 and 2006, Adriane's talents earned her the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) /New England Chapter award for outstanding writing; and in 2008, 2009 and 2010, the National Federation of Press Women award.
She sits on the executive council of AMWA, and was secretary of the
New England chapter. An active member of her community, Adriane
serves on a city-wide committee that meets regularly with Harvard
University. For fifteen years, she taught literacy skills to native-born
Americans, while serving on the board of directors of the Adult
Literacy Program. Adriane is also a member of Massachusetts Animal
Coalition.
Adriane earned her BA from Washington University in St. Louis,
Missouri, and her MA from Michigan State University, East Lansing,
Michigan.
